Pedro
Duarte has a BA in Cinema Editing by the Escola Superior
de Teatro e Cinema (Lisbon, Portugal).
Since 1992 he works as an editor with Moviola, Adobe
Première,
Media 100 and Final Cut Pro.
In 1997 he directs Gust -
os Ensaios (The rehearsals). Since then he has worked
as camera operator and promotional videos editor for contemporary
dance shows of the following coreographers: Francisco Camacho, João
Galante, Carlota Lagido, David Miguel, Filipa Francisco, Paula Castro
and Begonia
Mendez.
Since 2002 he works regularly for Laranja
Azul as an editor and production assistant. In 2002
he wins the award for Best Editing with the film Fleurette by
Sérgio Tréffaut in Doc Lisboa (Lisbon's International Documentary
Festival).
